Mary Umbarger

Mary Umbarger performs with alone and with The Front Porch Strings, playing old-time, Celtic, and jazz on the autoharp. She is a winnner of many competitions including Galax Old Fiddlers Convention, Mt. Airy Fiddlers Convention, Union Grove Fiddlers Convnention, Loch Norman Scottish Games Harp Competition and the North Carolina State Fair. She teachs workshops in autoharp, bowed psaltry, and fiddle tunes on the autoharp in old time and Celtic music.
